Dr. Strobos has operated on more than 12 000 shoulders since he started his practice in 1998. Between 2003 – 2005 I did a fellowship with Dr Stephan Burkhart who is part of the San Antonio Orthopaedic Group. He is also board certified by The American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery (ABOS). I visited him 5 times.

Dr. Strobos lectures at many workshops for Pfizer and MSD on how to administer cortisone injections. He has done over 200 workshops for all the GP’s all-over South Africa.

Dr. Strobos also did a paper researching Arthroscopic Rotator cuff repair in patients and was presented in the South African Orthopaedic Conference. 

Dr. Strobos presented a poster presentation in Brazil at the ICSS meeting discussing Rotator Cuff repairs.

Dr. Strobos is an International Travel Consultant for Arthrex and has attended and presented live surgery lectures in Saudi Arabia and recently in Namibia.

He also did presentations at the South African Orthopaedic Scientific Meeting in 2001. He presented how he does a biceps tenodesis with the modified neviaser approach. This is a technique that Dr Strobos invented. As part of the Academic panel, he was invited to do live surgery of SLAP Repairs for Smith & Nephew in Durban. Dr Strobos also gives lectures and workshops to GP across South Africa on Cortisone injections.
